Consists of Jiangsu Tongding Optic-electronic Stock Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Tongding Optical & Electric Technology Co., Ltd., Tongding Group Co., Ltd. is specialized in the manufacturing of Optical Fiber Cables, Communication Cables, Railway Signal Cables, Networking cables and Optical Fiber.
The company located in Wujiang city of Jiangsu province, occupies an area of 680,000 square meters and has 1380 employees. The annual output is over USD420.00 million. The yearly capacity of communication cable production is 8.8 million kilometers. The company is equipped with 62 most advanced insulation production lines, 16 cabling machines, 88 high-speed pair twisters and 8 jacket production lines.
The annual capacity of optical fiber cable is 2.50 million fiber kilometers. The company is equipped with 3 coloring machines from MS company of Australian, 1 fiber ribbon forming machine form Nextrom of Finland, 4 secondary coating lines (among which 1 is from Rosendahl Austria and 1 is from Nextrom Finland), 10 cabling lines and 8 jacketing lines and inspection equipments and instruments for all electrical, mechanical, temperature and environmental performance.
The communication optical fiber cable of TDGD brand has been awarded a Quality Free-Inspection certificate and China Top Brand certificate.
The company invested USD25.80 million in 2005 to develop railway signal cable, digital cable, inner shield digital cable, axis counting cable, responder cable and city subway cable. The 22000 square meter facility and inspection center has been built. The company purchased a three-layer co extrusion physical foam-skin line from Austrian Rosendahl Co., high-speed twister from French Podia Co., and equipped with advanced inner shield, cabling line, argon-arc welding and jacket equipments and purchased whole inspection equipment from Germany, American and Japan.
The company has passed the ISO9001 quality system in 2001, ISO14001-2004 environment system in 2006 and provincial measurement certificate in the same year. The cable products have been approved by TLC Approval Center and got the network access license from Broadcasting Bureau, General Staff Headquarters and National Telecommunications. The products have been broadly used by China Telecommunication, NetCom, China Mobile, UniCom, Railway Communication and Broadcasting, National Defense, Power supply, Railway, Highway, mine and oil field and covered 26 provinces, cities and autonomous regions.
The company has been recognized as provincial high-tech enterprise, and the products are recognized as provincial high-tech products and Tongding Optics is recognized as provincial famous brand name.
