Founded in 1995, Zhejiang Meida Solar Energy Industrial Co., Ltd. is specializing in the production of solar water heaters. In 2007, we are very proud of winning the great award--China Famous Brand. There are only two companies in China's solar energy industry winning this great honour. Only those companies with first-class quality and worldwide famous products can get this honour.
Our company is located in Haining City of Zhejiang Province, which covers an area of 231,500 square meters with more than 1,000 staff members. As the core enterprise of Zhejiang Meida Group, we have an annual manufacturing capability of 12,000 ton of high boron silicon glass tubes, 8 million vacuum heat collection tubes and 300,000 solar water heaters, forming a complete industrial chain of high boron-silicon glass tubes-vacuum heat collection tubes-solar water heaters.
We play a leading role in China's solar energy industry, and our products have been sold to 28 provinces in China as well as the rest regions in the world, such as the EU, North America, South Africa and Southeast Asia.
In the selective inspection of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China in 2007, Meida Solar Water Heaters surpassed 48% over China's national standard (China's national standard: 7.5MJ/sqm) for our daily useful energy per contour aperture area achieved 11MJ/sqm, ranking number one in China.
